A transcript that reads as broken software is worse than none.
A client who sees that their agent took ten calls can open any one of them, read what was said, get the important points without reading, and reach the caller's record in one click. Transcripts are coalesced into readable turns at write time rather than rendered from the fragments a speech engine happened to emit.
Nothing records audio, and the field is not built
Florida is an all party consent jurisdiction and callers originate anywhere, so the strictest applicable rule governs and an undisclosed recording is a criminal exposure rather than a compliance nit. Recording also costs the warmest three seconds of every call, because the disclosure has to land in the greeting. Absence over prohibition: a release gate asserts that zero recording artifacts and zero recording configuration exist for any tenant, and it passes today.
Every voice row on the ledger before 12 August 2026 arrived in a one-off migration, and for four days after it the live capture path wrote only to the store the ledger is replacing. A live writer was attached on 12 August and has produced 273 rows, which match the old store exactly. The newest call is now on both, but 128 calls in between are on the old store and have no row here. That backlog has not been carried over, so there is a hole in the middle of this history and we would rather draw it than let a caught-up newest row imply it is not there.

A caught-up newest row is the easiest lie to tell by accident.
Asking how many calls are newer than the ledger's newest row returns zero the moment a live writer is attached. That number would have read as complete over a hole of more than a hundred calls. The figure published above is the shortfall, computed by comparing the two sets, which is the only comparison that can see a gap in the middle.
